Airlab Microsensors Challenge 2023
November 2023
In the last edition, both Kunak AIR Pro (for the 2nd consecutive year) and Kunak AIR Lite, stood out as the most accurate multi-pollutant sensors for France and Thailand for their outstanding performance in extremely different environmental conditions.
DHL Atlas Award for most innovative export
October 2023
This recognition highlights Kunak’s international projection, with clients in more than 60 countries and devices operating around the five continents, positioning Kunak as a leader in the field of environmental monitoring.
AQE & WWEM 2022 Awards
October 2022
Kunak won the ‘Best Air Quality Network Monitoring Award’ at the Air Quality & Emissions Show (AQE) 2022 for its air quality monitoring project that took part in the APB ports (the Balearic Islands Port Authority).
Airlab Microsensors Challenge 2021

In October 2021, the air quality station, Kunak AIR Pro, was awarded as THE MOST ACCURATE MULTI-CONTAMINANT SENSOR at the AIRLAB Microsensors Challenge 2021 organized by Airparif, an international workshop about air quality solutions.
Tesicnor award
November 2019
Kunak, a benchmark in environmental sensors, received the prestigious Tesicnor trophy which awards excellence in technology and business vision, an achievement that inspires to keep improving global air quality.
US EPA Honourable Mention
September 2018
Javier Fernandez and his team were recognized at the Wildland Fire Sensors Challenge, organized by the US EPA, for their real-time fire monitoring prototype, an innovation that contributes to the safety of communities affected by wildfire smoke.
La Caixa Entrepreneur XXI Award
June 2014
Kunak was recognized with the Entrepreneur XXI award in Navarra (2014), for its innovation in the M2M communications and remote location monitoring market, promoted by “la Caixa” and the Ministry of Industry, Energy and Tourism through ENISA.
Atana Award for the best innovative project
April 2014
Kunak was awarded the 2014 Atana Prize as the best innovative project of ICT companies in Navarra for the development of a long-distance wireless network and low-power consumption sensors, to keep up with the monitoring and control in remote locations that are difficult to access.
