The “Challenge AIRLAB Microcapteurs” is an international initiative organized by Airparif and AIRLAB to periodically assess the effectiveness and reliability of emerging air quality microsensor technologies. Across its various editions, multiple solutions from different companies participate, with a selection of devices chosen for evaluation.
Over a three-month period, Airparif’s metrology laboratory, in collaboration with Atmo Hauts-de-France, tests these devices against more than 42 evaluation criteria, analyzing their performance in both indoor and outdoor environments.
The main goal of this challenge is to assess air quality microsensors to meet the growing demand for monitoring solutions in buildings, cities, and by individual users, provide clear guidance on their suitability, and promote innovation in this emerging market.
